Vision

A National Committee for the Clean Development Mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol and any competence contained in a future agreement on climate change, including with regards to Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs); reporting obligations and development and implementation of the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF); as well as regarding Carbon Market Mechanisms.

Mission

Work towards fulfilling the Kingdom's international commitments related to climate change ِagreements such as the preparation and coordination of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs); the preparation and submission of Biennial Update Reports (BURs) and National Communication reports (NCs); the development and implementation of the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF); as well as regarding Carbon Market Mechanisms.
